Responsibilities:
Civil Service responsibility for City of Oswego, School District, Public Library,
Housing Authority and Port Authority including preparation and maintenance of
a classification plan, payroll certification, maintenance of roster records, Civil
Service Examinations and establishment of titles and minimum qualifications for
all positions and approval of qualifications for all applicants. Labor negotiations
with and contract admistration for all six City of Oswego collective bargaining
units including advise to department heads and settlement of grievances and disputes.
Affirmative Action Program. Management of CDL Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.
