Mayor Barlow announces public input session for zoning code rewrite

City of Oswego Mayor Billy Barlow announced a public information session on Thursday, November 15th at 3:00 in the Council Chambers at Oswego City Hall to unveil details on the Downtown Design Standards. The public will learn how the design standards guide new development and redevelopment in Downtown Oswego, and how it relates to the Oswego Code updates.

“The City has been working diligently in updating the City Code along with improving the Downtown Design Standards to help promote a more urban design quality and be compatible with the historic character of our city.  Public input is important, and I hope that the community will attend this information session,” Mayor Billy Barlow concluded.

The meeting will be hosted by Kimberly Baptiste from Bergmann who helped oversee the project.  The meeting is Thursday November 15th at 3:00pm – 5:00pm in the Common Council Chambers located in Oswego City Hall, 13 West Oneida Street, Oswego.

This project was made possible through funding from the New York State Brownfield Opportunity Area program from the Department of State through a cooperative partnership with Oswego County.
