Oswego Theater, now known as Oswego 7 Cinemas, is a historic movie theater designed in 1940 in the Art Deco style and opened in 1941.

City of Oswego Summer Sunset Band Concerts
An Oswego tradition for almost 80 years, these free concerts overlook beautiful Lake Ontario, while providing an enjoyable evening for the young and young at heart.
The Oswego City Concert Band performs traditional marches, overtures, and other classic band literature, along with music from Broadway musicals and film.
The Jazz Band features the music of the greatest “Big Bands” of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, including Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glen Miller and Benny Goodman, along with some contemporary groups. The concerts are sponsored by the City of Oswego, with additional funding provided by the Music Performance Trust Fund and Oswego County Musicians Union, local 267-441.

All concerts are at Breitbeck Park, in case of rain, they are held under the pavilion. Conductors are Trevor Jorgensen for the concert band and Stan Gosek for the jazz band.

Oswego Music Hall
The Oswego Music Hall has been bringing nationally ranked performances to Oswego since 1976. Every other Saturday evening, the McCrobie Civic Center overlooking Lake Ontario, is transformed into an intimate, candlelit cafe with professional staging. With the addition of Open Mic Fridays in 2012, the Hook Songwriter Series in 2015 and the Guest Curator Series in 2021, over 40 events are held each year.
