The City of Oswego’s Community & Economic Development Office administers state and federal assistance for Oswego’s neighborhoods and businesses. The office has delivered funding assistance through loans and grants for housing, public improvements, economic development and public services through projects and programs approved by the Mayor and the Common Council.
The Community & Economic Development Office provides assistance for Homeowners, for Businesses, and for Developers & Investors. The city is dedicated to the successes of employers, anchor institutions, and improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods and through the city which is why community partnerships, business leadership and economic development are important. The Community & Economic Development Office recognizes that strategic public and private partnerships are vital to retain and recruit residents, businesses and visitors to Oswego.
