The “Connect Oswego” Route 104 Streetscape Revitalization Project is a planning and design process that involves an evaluation of the Route 104 corridor in the context of providing safe, convenient access and mobility for users of all ages and abilities. The plan will include recommendations for modifications to improve safety and usability while enhancing the aesthetic character of the corridor and incorporating new design treatments.

A major component of the effort is to identify enhancements that will promote greater transportation choices while maintaining efficient passage for pedestrians, bicyclists, public transportation users, and motorists. The project, administered through the Department of Planning and Zoning in coordination with the Mayors Office, is an important first step in prioritizing future needs and projects for the corridor, as well as understanding how Route 104 connects and relates to surrounding neighborhoods, major nodes and destinations, and the regional transportation network.
