63rd Annual 2019 Classic Week
The Oswego Speedway was built in 1951, and the asphalt track is the Labor Day Weekend home of the "Mod Classic 150", ISMA Super Nationals 60, 200-lap, non-wing, big-block supermodified Budweiser Classic, and Bud Light SBS Classic 75.
Children's Museum of Oswego
Incorporated in 2013, The Children’s Museum of Oswego (CMOO) was founded by a group of Oswego residents desiring to expand the educational and recreational opportunities available to the children of Oswego County and surrounding communities. The Children’s Museum of Oswego seeks to be a year-round place for fun, safe, and educational play. CMOO is a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization and is chartered by the New York State Board of Regents through the New York State Education Department.
CNY Great Pumpkin Festival
The annual festival features kids' activities, amusement rides, vendors, crafters, fresh produce, food for purchase, pony rides and the popular pumpkin toss, with pumpkins of varying weights for varying ages.
Dragonboat Festival
The Oswego Dragon Festival is a day packed with dragon-boat races and raising money for a great cause. All proceeds from the festival go to the Oswego YMCA's Family Programing, which helps local families have access to Y programs.
Fort Ontario State Historic Site
The fourth and current Fort Ontario is built on the ruins of three earlier fortifications dating to the French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, and War of 1812. It was occupied by the U.S. Army through World War II. From 1944 to 1946 the fort served as the only refugee camp in the United States for mostly Jewish victims of the Nazi Holocaust under an Executive Order from President Franklin D. Roosevelt. A post cemetery containing the graves of 77 officers, soldiers, women, and children who served at Fort Ontario in war and peace is situated on the grounds which are open year-round from dawn to dusk.
H. Lee White Maritime Museum
The H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego was founded in 1982 under the auspices of the Port of Oswego Authority and led by Mrs. Rosemary Nesbitt - former SUNY Oswego theater professor and City of Oswego historian. Located on Oswego's West First Street Pier running adjacent to the Oswego River where it empties into Lake Ontario by way of Oswego's Harbor, the Museum's main facility was the administrative offices and freight-house of the grain elevator that formerly rested on the northern end of the structure.
Independence Day Parade
Oswego commemorates Independence Day every year with a large parade and a fantastic fireworks display. The parade begins at 1:00pm and features various floats, marching bands and vehicles depicting Oswego’s history. Fireworks over the lake begin at 9:00pm.
Lake Ontario Conference Center
Overlooking the Oswego Harbor and historic downtown, the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, within the Best Western Plus Captain's Quarters, offers the charm of a picturesque waterfront community, coupled with a state-of-the-art facility.

Oswego 7 Cinema
Oswego Theater, now known as Oswego 7 Cinema, is a historic movie theater located in downtown Oswego, New York. It was designed in 1940 in the Art Deco style and opened in 1941.
