Oswego City Library
For 160 years, the Oswego Public Library has sat on a hill overlooking the Oswego Canal, the Oswego River, and Lake Ontario. It was chartered in 1853, constructed in 1855/56, and opened its doors in the Spring of 1857. It is one of the finest Norman Revival or “Castellated” buildings still standing and, with its look of a medieval castle together with its hilltop location, it is an outstanding landmark for the city of Oswego. The Oswego Public Library has the distinction of being the oldest public library still in its original building in the United States.
Oswego Country Club
The Oswego Country Club is an incorporated, member-owned, non-profit organization. OCC is among the nation’s oldest golf clubs, having been established on 1897. Oswego Country Club currently boasts over 350 members, including a very active golf membership.
Oswego Farmer's Market
The Oswego Farmer's Market hosted by the Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce takes place Thursday evenings from 4:30pm to 8:30pm on West First Street between Bridge and Oneida Streets. The Market runs from the end of May through to October and features a wide variety of vendors as well as live entertainment!
Oswego Harborfest
July's Harborfest is one of the largest outdoor Musical Events in America, and attracts hundreds of thousands to the Port City every year. See top name Artists Perform in concert during four days of Festival activities with Great food, crafts, rides and a Fireworks Extravaganza that is second to none.
Oswego Lighthouse
Oswego Harbor West Pierhead Lighthouse is an active aid to navigation located off the coast of Oswego, New York. It was built in 1934 to replace an earlier light constructed in 1880.
Oswego Porchfest
A community building annual event when local musicians preform on people's front porches throughout the Historic Westside Neighborhood.
Oswego Railroad Museum
The Oswego Railroad Museum is dedicated to the historic preservation of railroad history in the Oswego County area.
Oswego Speedway
The Oswego Speedway is a race track in Oswego, New York. It was built in 1951 and today is an asphalt race track. The track is the Labor Day Weekend home of the 200-lap, non-wing, big-block supermodified Budweiser Classic and Race of Champions.
Port of Oswego Authority
The Port of Oswego is the first U.S. port of call and deepwater port on the Great Lakes from the St. Lawrence Seaway. Located on Lake Ontario on route to the interior of North America, we are accessible from any international port in the world. The Historical port is also home to Oswego Marina, the H. Lee White Marine Museum, historic maritime district, and fourteen companies that call it home for its domestic and international operations.
Richardson-Bates House
Founded in 1896, the historical society has preserved and promoted the history of the greater Oswego community for over a century. In 1946, the historical society received a generous gift of a historic 19th century Italian Villa to serve as the permanent headquarters for a public museum. Since that time the society has owned and operated the magnificent Richardson-Bates House Museum.
